Changing the Hyperlink

This is an important step. The link creator will create what is called a relative URL. This is a URL that does not have your domain name in front of it. In email campaigns you need to make sure that you add your domain name in front of the link. This will allow an email reader the ability to click a link that goes to your domain. Add your URL in front of the link by clicking and typing the URL without the http:// in front of it.

Test your Link

You can test your link by clicking on the preview icon on the toolbar. It will open the email campaign body into a new window. Click on the link and see if the document starts to download. If it does you are probably finished.

IMPORTANT: We highly recommend that you test downloading the document by sending yourself a test campaign before sending to your audience to ensure that the download does work. 90% of the time the problem will be that you forgot to add your domain name in front of the link and this will make it impossible for the file to be downloaded.
