The module that handles gallery images is called 'PhotoGrid.' Find PhotoGrid in the menu and click it.

Now that you are in the PhotoGrid module, you'll see an inventory list of all the PhotoGrids on your website. The inventory page allows you to add a new gallery, edit an existing gallery or delete one altogether.

To add a new gallery to the website, click 'Add New' from the PhotoGrid inventory page (image above).

Once you click 'Add New' a new page will populate.

Note: You may need to enable Adobe Flash to see the image uploader. This will refresh the page and you may need to re-navigate back to the module * see previous steps. Once Flash is enabled once on your browser, you should not have to enable it again.

On the New PhotoGrid Page you may enter (* = required)

  1. Title of Gallery*: This is the back-end title for your gallery to distinguish between one gallery vs. another
  2. Order Value: If you have multiple galleries on one page, the order value represents the order the gallery is displayed on the page
  3. Page(s) for display*: You must select at least one page for the gallery to appear on. This is a multi-select tool so your gallery can appear on multiple pages
  4. Browse File: Now that you gave your gallery a name and chose which page it will appear on, you can add photos to the gallery by browsing your computer
    • Please Note: The order for which your images will appear is by the order in which they are loaded in. The first image that is loaded in will be the first image in the gallery. At this time we do not have the ability to set the order of images.

  6. Add Image Properties: This is where you'll be able to set the captions for your images
    • Please Note: You must first save the gallery after your images were uploaded to add captions.
  7. Grid (Gallery) Description: This is the title for your gallery that will output in the page. It is typically in a header font
  8. Save: You must click 'Save' after making changes to the gallery

Adding Image Captions

Once your gallery images are loaded in and you save the inital gallery, you can go back in to add captions. I recommend clicking on the 'PhotoGrid' module in the left-hand menu and clicking 'Edit' on the new gallery before adding in captions.
